Glitter graphics are my new favorite art form! I've been a fan
of every slightly kitsch, offbeat and lowbrow mass produced expression
of artistic coolness, think velvet paintings, string art, spin art,
black light posters, scenic moving pictures (where it looks like
the waterfall is in motion), paint by numbers and... well, you get
the idea, and glitter graphics are the newest super hot thang to
be added to that prodigious list! I was recently happily surprised
and flattered when the world's #1 master of digital glitter, Colleen
Fry, chose my illustrations to work her magic on. Now she is generous
enough to share them with all of us, for FREE! Soon she and her
friend, equally talented graphic artist Jessica Adel, www.myspace.com/jessicaadel,
will be putting up a site showcasing all of their creations. I'll
let you know as soon as it's ready! But for now, thanks to Colleen,
feel free to plaster these sweet sparkly images all over your Myspace
page or anywhere else your heart desires.
